TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G Launched in Pakistan for Gamers, With Dimensity 7100 and 144Hz Display
TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G is now available in Pakistan at PKR 99,999 with Dimensity 7100, 144Hz AMOLED display and an 8000mAh battery.
The POVA series is back in Pakistan. TECNO launched the POVA Curve 2 5G on October 15, 2026, and it's already on sale nationwide. The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G price in Pakistan is PKR 99,999, and there's only one variant: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
Performance and Gaming
Under the hood sits MediaTek's Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, and TECNO is pitching the phone squarely at mobile gamers. The company says it can hold Free Fire at 60fps for around 90 minutes, with Ice Cooling 3.0 keeping heat in check during long sessions.
TECNO also claims a TÜV Rheinland certification for staying lag-free over six years. That's a bold promise, and only long-term use will show whether it holds up.
Connectivity is another focus. The phone supports 20 5G bands, and TECNO says it gets up to 100% stronger signal indoors and 60% stronger Wi-Fi. If you struggle with reception at home or in the office, this is worth watching once real-world tests appear.
Battery and Charging
The battery is the main attraction here. TECNO has fitted an 8000mAh cell into a body that's only 7.42mm thick and weighs 195g, and the company says no other 8000mAh phone is slimmer.
By TECNO's numbers, you should get about two days from a full charge and over 15 days of standby. The battery is also rated for 2,000 charge cycles, which TECNO equates to roughly six years of use.
Charging details:
- 45W wired charging, with a full charge in about 82 minutes (TECNO's figure)
- 10W reverse charging for powering up other devices
- Bypass charging support
If you've been looking for an 8000mAh battery phone in Pakistan, this is one of the more interesting options at the moment.
Display
The front is a curved 144Hz AMOLED panel with peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
There are gaming-focused touch features too. The screen has a 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate, plus anti-mistouch tech meant for wet or oily fingers. That could come in handy during long sessions or humid weather.
Design and Durability
The phone stays fairly slim for its battery size. It comes in three colours:
- Melting Silver
- Mystic Purple
- Storm Titanium
For protection, it has an IP64 rating against dust and splashes, and TECNO says it's SGS-certified to survive drops from 1.5 meters.
Camera and AI Features
The rear setup is simple: a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro lens. Up front is a 13MP selfie camera.
Most of the extras come from software. TECNO includes:
- AI Eraser 2.0 to remove unwanted objects from photos
- AI Flare Remover to reduce lens flare
- Image-to-Live to turn still photos into moving ones
- AI Noise Cancellation for clearer calls
There's also the Ella voice assistant, which handles two-way call translation (WhatsApp calls included), WhatsApp summaries and quick Q&A.

Our Take
The POVA Curve 2 5G knows what it wants to be: a gaming phone with a huge battery and a fast screen. Fitting 8000mAh into a 7.42mm body is the standout. The camera setup is basic, and the AI tools and Ella assistant add most of the extras.
Keep in mind that the biggest promises, like six years without lag, two-day battery life and better indoor signal, come from TECNO itself. We'd wait for real-world testing before treating them as proven. Still, at PKR 99,999, it earns a place on the shortlist if battery life and gaming matter most to you.
